The founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, Abhijeet Dipke said on Friday that the government might try to arrest the leaders of the protest at night. He thinks the government is trying to stop a lot of people from protesting over the weekend. Abhijeet Dipke told the people who were protesting to stay calm and keep protesting even if the leaders get arrested.
Abhijeet Dipke said that the people who are organizing the protest heard that a lot more people will join the protest on Saturday and Sunday. He believes that if the leaders get arrested it will make the protest stronger not weaker. He said this because in the past when the police did something it made more people want to protest.
People are protesting because they think there were problems with the NEET-UG exam and they want Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to quit. The protesters are gathering at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and in other cities saying they want the government to be more responsible and make the exam system better. The police have increased security in Delhi with more police officers around important government buildings and where people are protesting.
Abhijeet Dipke said the protest will stay peaceful and asked the people to not do anything if someone tries to provoke them. He said they are protesting to help the students and make the exam system more transparent. The people who are organizing the protest also asked the protesters in states to keep protesting but to follow the local laws and not cause any trouble.
The Delhi Police said before that some things people were saying about Abhijeet Dipke getting arrested during the protest were not true. They asked people to not believe everything they hear and to only listen to updates. The police have said times that they want the protests to be peaceful and they do not want people to spread false information on social media.
As the weekend is coming the police are getting ready. The people who are organizing the protest think more people will join. The government and the protest leaders are talking to try to find a solution. The protests will likely continue until the people get what they want. The Cockroach Janta Party and its founder Abhijeet Dipke will keep saying that the protest is, about the students and the exam system. The protesters want Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to listen to them and make things right.
