Earthful Raises Rs 26 Crore to Transform Women’s Nutrition in India
Earthful, the Shark Tank India-featured clean-label plant-based nutrition brand, has raised Rs 26 crore in a pre-Series A round. The funding was led by Fireside Ventures and V3 Ventures, with additional support from Atrium Angels. This marks another major milestone for the company, which earlier secured backing from well-known angel investors and family offices.
Founded in 2020 by sisters and IIT alumni Veda and Sudha Gogineni, Earthful aims to rewrite how nutrition is understood and consumed in India. The company focuses on natural, transparent, and shame-free nutrition, especially for women navigating menopause—a topic often neglected in the mainstream health space.
A Mission Born Out of Frustration With the Existing Nutrition Industry
When the sisters launched Earthful, they set out to challenge what they saw as a cluttered and confusing nutritional market. Many products were loaded with artificial additives, unclear labelling, and misleading claims. They wanted to bring clarity, honesty and simplicity to everyday nutrition.
The founders say their goal is to help people—especially women—feel confident about what they consume without needing to decode complicated ingredient lists.
Why Women’s Health, and Why Now?
Menopause and women’s hormonal health remain under-addressed areas in India. Earthful claims to be the first in the country to create multivitamins specifically for menopausal women. Their formulations combine vitamins, minerals and herbs to support overall wellness during this transition.
The brand’s philosophy revolves around nature-driven solutions that are easy to understand, easy to trust and easy to make a part of daily routines.
A Product Portfolio Built Around Real Consumer Needs
Earthful offers a range of plant-based nutrition products designed to suit multiple age groups and wellness priorities.
Their key offerings include:
- Daily multivitamins for different life stages
- Multivitamins designed specifically for menopausal women
- Plant protein available in multiple flavours
- Supplements for skin, hair and sleep
Each product is designed with clean, nature-based ingredients, simple formulations and a clear purpose. The brand’s commitment to “Nothing but Nature” has become its core identity and a major driver of its popularity.
A Rapidly Growing Customer Base
In just two years, Earthful claims to have built a community of over two lakh customers across India. Much of this growth has come from repeat customers who appreciate clean formulations and visible results.
Word-of-mouth recommendations and a growing interest in preventive health have fuelled the momentum even further. For many consumers, Earthful represents a refreshing shift from the overly complex and commercialised nutrition industry.
New Funding to Power the Next Phase of Growth
With the newly raised Rs 26 crore, the company plans to expand its product range, especially in the women’s health and wellness category. The startup is also strengthening its teams in Hyderabad and Mumbai to support increasing demand.
What the Founders Say
Co-founder Veda Gogineni said the investment will help the brand go deeper into Bharat and continue its mission of making nutrition simple, natural and accessible.
She explained that the motivation behind Earthful was to challenge the unclean practices in the existing nutrition market. With this fresh round of funding, the brand aims to continue building products that are rooted in nature and backed by science.
Why Investors Are Betting Big on Earthful
Earthful’s focus on clean-label nutrition, transparency and women’s health has resonated strongly with its investors.
Arjun Vaidya, Co-founder of V3 Ventures, said he has been following Earthful’s journey since 2021. He noted that India is currently at an important turning point in preventive healthcare and supplements. According to him, what sets Earthful apart is its honesty, simple formulation philosophy and mission-first approach. He also shared that his own mother has been using Earthful’s plant protein for years because it addresses her needs effectively.
Fireside Ventures echoed similar sentiments. Principal Ankur Khaitan highlighted that women’s health—especially menopause—is emerging as a powerful category with massive demand and limited quality options. He praised the founders for their deep consumer understanding and clear vision to transform how women experience wellness during menopause.
From Shark Tank to Nationwide Expansion
Earthful gained national recognition after its appearance on Shark Tank India, where the founders showcased their mission to redefine nutrition through plant-based, clean-label supplements. The visibility strengthened consumer trust and attracted more angel investors.
The brand later raised 1 million dollars from well-known investors and family offices, helping it scale its product line and distribution channels. In the last financial year, Earthful recorded over three times growth—a pace largely driven by strong customer loyalty and referral-based sales.
Why Earthful Is Becoming a Brand to Watch
India’s wellness market is expanding rapidly, and consumers are becoming increasingly conscious of product quality, ingredient transparency and brand intentions. Earthful is tapping directly into this shift by offering:
- Clean, easy-to-understand products
- Indian-first formulations designed for real consumer problems
- A focus on women’s wellness, an underserved but growing category
- Plant-based, natural nutrition for modern lifestyles
The new funding will allow the brand to strengthen its research, build deeper regional presence and expand into more underserved health segments.
What’s Next for Earthful?
The founders plan to build Earthful into a household name, especially across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, where awareness about quality nutrition is rising but access remains limited.
Their future roadmap includes:
- Deeper expansion across Bharat
- New categories within women’s health
- Stronger retail presence
- More plant-based innovations
- Community-led education around preventive nutrition
By combining science, nature and real-world consumer insights, Earthful is setting out to shape the future of clean nutrition in India.
